What’s RiseWise? Recently I’ve been using Articulate Rise for performance support and quick learning projects. Project 99 where we’re building up 99 JavaScript examples for Storyline (and Rise) is one of the examples.
However, after exporting Rise, I had to do some manual editing. Namely, copying some additional files into the zip, assets, jQuery, etc. I also had to add a couple of lines of code to the index.html every single time I exported the course. Sine Project 99 is updated frequently, I realized…
No human should be doing these repeated steps over and over and over again…
So I built this RiseWise tool for Windows. It literally does the same repetitive actions automated. So I don’t need to. That’s all. Nothing fancy but useful:
Folks asked me to share. It wasn’t intended for the masses so it does not have any fancy features but if you think it’s useful, download it from here.
It is for Windows only:
- Unzip
- Read the readme.txt
- Follow the instructions 🙂
- Let me know if you need help.
What you can control:
Add files you need to include in the source folder (jQuery, js files, etc.). Use the /config/config.ini file to add the code you need to insert in the index.html.
Be RiseWise!
